What we do

The purpose of Lodestone Technology is to support and enable the growth of UK manufacturing. Lodestone is not a low-cost sourcing venture nor a quick turn one off service, plenty of businesses fill that space, and many do it very well. Lodestone is about becoming a partner and an extension of your business, of your capacity. Lodestone is not in competition with you, but there to enable you to provide additional capacity and services, thus enable you to win more business.

Consultation

Through the creation of Lodestone, and its intention to support and enable the growth of UK manufacturing, quite often the Business strategy, or the implementation of, can use additional support with definition or delivery across the business. Here Lodestone can provide consultancy to help with that, to work with leadership team, as well as deployment through Coaching and mentoring and teamwork development.

Supply Chain

If you have a particular constraint within your capacity, you have a particular demand or you need to make capacity for new projects coming through, I can help. I have significant outsourcing experience for over 19 years, especially into low-cost regions, including, Czech Republic, Latvia, Poland, Bulgaria, Spain, China, Thailand, India etc.

Asia

Within Asia, I have partners across a range of commodities – see services list, that I can call upon, with generally two or three per commodity with various strengths that I can engage with depending on your requirement.

The suppliers in questions I have been with for close to 20 years, where my working relationship, trust, and business ethic is fully developed. All suppliers I use as a minimum are ISO9000, the significant majority have been assessed to SA8000, and some are aviation AS9100D accredited.

Europe

Dependent on your business strategy, manufacturing strategy or supply chain strategy, a nearshore solution may be preferable. Here Lodestone has access to a network of precision manufactures all ISO accredited from automotive to electronics.

Outsourcing

Instead of having to use your capital, or take a lease for a new machine, I can provide that capacity, through this trusted network of audited vendors, enabling you to focus on winning new business, rather than how you are going to deliver it.

I have extensive experience, where I will go through a review of fitness for transfer and then collaboratively manage the manufacturing transfer. I can also provide multiple logistics solutions including warehousing and JIT deliveries across the UK.
